According to a report by El Ameria, the Manufacturers Association and Related Aggregates of Andalusia (AFA) has noted that consumption of aggregates for the construction of Andalusia in 2008 was at 62.9 million tons (7 per capita) while in 2009 41.6 tons (5.1 per capita) were consumed.

In the report, Sonia Rodriguez, a delegate of Economics, Innovation and Science, said that the Board would like to emphasize the need to support the sector and the need to move forward in all you have to do with sustainable mining and the regulation of farms that are outside the legal framework.

According to the report, the Board plans to adjust to a changing globalized production system. It plans increase production, adding more training, introduce technologies in the production phase, to achieve value-added products, improved extraction processes, to establish a regulatory action to back the mining and sustainable mining.

In relation to this, 2009 has ushered the creation of 189 projects and 1,600 direct jobs.{reg/}
