According to a report by Efe, the objective of this lawsuit is to nullify the agreement made on December 21 forcing the manufacturers in Menorca to adapt to the urban planning guidelines laid out in the Alaior Planning (DOT ) and Insular Territorial Plan (ITP).

Aggregate manufacturers, according to the report, disagree with the forecasts contained in the general plan regarding the urban management of Alaior and legalization of mining and quarrying activities that currently exist in this county.

According to the report, the president of the Consell, Marc Pons, has a period of nine days to respond and appear at the trial before the High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands. {reg/}
