Producers and regulators are more and more focused on two main objectives: a smaller carbon footprint and less energy consumption.

There are few industrial production techniques that need a revamp as much as cement manufacturing does. Cement production is one of the most polluting and energy intensive processes, and the demand for a better way is only equaled by the demand for the product itself. There is extensive scientific research underway, and several solutions appear to emerge, as producers and regulators are more and more focused on two main objectives: a smaller carbon footprint and less energy consumption.
