The Belgian company will start exports through the port of Salalah

Carmeuse Group and their partners, Oman's Majan Mining will start exporting high calcium lime from the lime plant in the Salalah Free Zone (SFZ), in Oman, reports Trade Arabia.

The plant is expected to reach a production capacity of 800 tons per day, using locally sourced limestone. "With the support of all stakeholders, the plant should allow the company to gain access to and establish its brand across new markets in the region," said Tim Van den Bossche, CEO of Carmeuse Middle East and Asia.

David Gledhill, Port of Salalah CEO,  was delighted to see the project showing continued growth in exports from their plant in Salalah Free Zone.
