The company has said that its procedure of dumping coal ash in a mine reclamation site is safe and is in accordance with state and federal regulations reports Atom Stack. The company says they have always been responsive to local needs and have taken measure s to uplift the lives of the locals. The company adds that they have been investing in safe modes of transporting fly ash and says fly ash is non toxic.
