A new River terminal at Marseilles, Illinois, is taking shape as all the components of the state-of-the-art facility come together

The River terminal, sitting on the Illinois river, will supply fertilizer at a high capacity, exceeding industry standards. The new Yargus 6 Leg Tower will blend and wholesale at a combined capacity of up to 700 TPH. In addition, the facility includes the "Yargus Stairway to Heaven", an access stair system designed to allow operators to easily access all areas of the Yargus Tower and to improve worker safety by eliminating long lengths of access ladders in the system.

The Layco 6 Leg Tower is a bolt-together design with minimal field welding required. The tubular modular design with side cladding assures years of dependable use. Its installation on site is setting new records, as the bolt together design and use of a CNC Beam line, along with the company's 3D software, ensures all components fit onsite.

In this project, the Yargus Tower system utilizes the 6.60 (6mt) Ton Yargus Performance Mixer that utilizes a low intensity mixing system to uniformly blend and coat fertilizers.
