Brest oblast leads in agricultural success

Brest Oblast in Belarus has concluded a prosperous harvest season, with the country clearing 89.5 percent of its designated grain and leguminous crop fields, along with 88 percent of rapeseed areas by August 22nd.

Belarus boasts an impressive total of 6,668,000 tonnes of harvested grain, including 5,734,000 tonnes of grain and leguminous crops and over 934,000 tonnes of rapeseed. Additionally, flax pulling has been completed in several regions, with a straw harvest of about 32,000 tonnes.

Furthermore, winter rapeseed planting for grain reached 90 percent of the designated area, and corn for silage harvesting has yielded 245,000 tonnes. This successful agricultural season contributes significantly to Belarus' food security and economic stability.
