Discover Kazakhstan's recent achievements in grain exports

{reg}Kazakhstan has seen a substantial increase in grain exports, according to The Astana Times. Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov disclosed that the country exported 2.6 million tons of grain from January to May this year.

In addition to revealing the total export volume, Saparov highlighted significant growth in exports to key markets like Uzbekistan, China, Tajikistan, Italy, and Afghanistan. Notably, shipments to China surged by 66 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 254,200 tons.

As of July 1, Kazakhstan boasts a grain reserve of 6.1 million tons, predominantly consisting of five million tons of wheat, including four million tons of food-grade wheat.

To prepare for the upcoming harvest season, Minister Saparov emphasized the importance of expanding storage capacities, enhancing export logistics, and diversifying market outlets. These measures are crucial to ensuring competitive pricing for Kazakh agricultural products.{reg}
