Karachi and Qasim ports continue to handle significant cargo volumes, demonstrating their commitment to supporting Pakistan's trade and economic growth.

 

 

{reg}Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and Port Qasim Authority (PQA) have maintained steady cargo handling operations, handling a combined total of 242,685 tonnes of cargo in the last 24 hours. This reflects the ports' resilience and ability to adapt to global economic challenges.

Over the past 24 hours, KPT handled 123,199 tonnes of cargo, comprising 108,513 tonnes of imports and 14,686 tonnes of exports. This included 38,906 tonnes of containerized cargo, 21,373 tonnes of bulk cargo, 16,947 tonnes of DAP fertilizer, and 21,325 tonnes of oil and liquid cargo.

PQA handled 119,486 tonnes of cargo in the last 24 hours, with imports accounting for 88,230 tonnes and exports totaling 31,256 tonnes. The port efficiently handled 3,781 containers, showcasing its capability to manage high container volumes.

Despite global economic uncertainties, Karachi and Qasim ports continue to operate at full capacity, demonstrating their commitment to supporting Pakistan's trade and economic growth. Their ability to handle large volumes of cargo efficiently is a testament to their robust infrastructure and skilled workforce.{reg}
