Cargo activities at Karachi Port and Port Qasim

Recent highlights

{reg}Karachi Port Trust (KPT) handled 61,895 tonnes of cargo in the last 24 hours, with 20,195 tonnes imported and 41,700 tonnes exported. Notably, 3,624 containers were processed during the day.

Port Qasim Authority (PQA) reported a cargo throughput of 108,198 tonnes in the same period. This included 79,077 tonnes of imports and 29,121 tonnes of exports. PQA also handled 2,504 containers (791 TEUs imports and 1,713 TEUs exports).

Several ships were engaged at both ports, with further arrivals expected.[/reg]
