Diana Shipping, headquartered in Greece and listed in New York, has fixed the 2012-built newcastlemax Philadelphia to C Transport Maritime at a slightly lower rate, according to Splash247.

Diana Shipping has fixed the 206,040 dwt vessel through to between February 1, 2024 and April 15, 2024 at a charter rate of USD 26,000 per day.

As a comparison, the ship was previously fixed to Classic Maritime at USD 28,500 per day.

The new contract began on April 12 and is expected to deliver about USD 16.87 million, based on the minimum time charter period.
