Hong Kong-listed Jinhui Shipping and Transportation recently announced that it has sold the 2004-built supramax bulk carrier Jin Cheng to Hong Kong private company, Perfect Shipping, for USD 13.9 million, reports Hongkong Maritime Hub.

According to Jinhui Shipping, it expected a gain of around USD 6 million following its original purchase of the vessel from Sea Venture Navigation, for USD 7.27 million, in 2021.

The company stated that it believes the sale will enable them to enhance its working capital position, as well as its liquidity. Jinhui Shipping concluded that it will keep working towards the quality of the group's fleet.
