Denmark-based owner has recently sold 7 bulk carriers, including panamaxes and supramaxes

Danish shipping company Norden has capitalised on high bulk carrier values, reports Splash 247.

Bulk carrier prices have increased 80 percent during the year, which by the end of the second quarter resulted in a rise of more than USD 350 million in the market value of Norden's portfolio.

Norden sold seven bulk carriers this year. The company has not disclosed any value details, but it said that it included both panamax and supramax vessels.

Norden's fleet consists of 16 owned bulk carriers and 50 purchase options in its leased bulkers fleet.
