CemWeek Feature: Cachapuz helps Cimpor Egypt automate dispatching operations

Cimpor Egypt was looking to improve its dispatching performance and vertical data integration. As a result, the company started exploring solutions that would allow for an improved organization of the movement of trucks waiting to enter and their movement within the plant. Cimpor also required a solution that would integrate with the existing systems architecture and allow for a streamlined reporting system.

In 2008, Cimpor contracted with Cachapuz Bilanciai to install the SLV Cement solution to manage the cement loading and unloading processes at the Amreyah Cimpor Cement Company in Alexandria, Egypt.
