According to CW Research, India's imports of uncalcined petcoke slightly exceeded 0.5 million tons in December 2015 with cement companies representing 80+ percent of purchases.

The monthly import volume represents a double-digit decline over November's imports and up 3 percent compared with the year-ago period. Indian uncalcined petcoke imports totaled 0.62 million tons in November 2015, while the country imported more than half million tons of uncalcined petcoke in December 2014.
