CW Research: India January month-on-month green petcoke imports increase

According to CW Research, India's imports of uncalcined petcoke slightly exceeded 0.9 million tons in January 2016 with cement companies representing about 84 percent of purchases.

ÔÇ£By the end of February, it has been observed that the price of high sulfur petcoke is increasing, while the price of mid sulfur petcoke is declining. This change can be attributed to the impending petcoke ban in China expected to be in effect from March 1, 2016," said Sushmita Rai, Sr. Associate Analyst, CW Group.
