Ian has many years of international experience in Europe, America and Asia, most recently in China where he was the country manager for LafargeHolcim from 2008 until earlier this year. Ian's industry and international experience will be extremely helpful in the next stage of WCA's development. WCA Chairman Vincent Lefebvre said ÔÇ£We are delighted that Ian Riley has agreed to join WCA as its CEO. Ian has many years of international business experience, including the last 10 years as China Country Head for LafargeHolcim. He has excellent business experience and the drive to help us take WCA to the next level. I am very pleased that we have been able to attract someone with his track record and competence.ÔÇØ Delegates to the WCA World Cement Conference, to be held in Shanghai from September 9 to 11, will have the chance to meet the new CEO and hear his vision for the future of the industry.
