Lafarge UK will be cutting back on its operations in Westbury, Wilsthire, and reducing the work force by 65 people. The firm will close one kiln and two cement mills, with the operation focusing on the remaining kiln and two cement mills. BBC reports that Lafarge indicated that tough market conditions and rising inputs costs were to blame.
