Company works to maintain brand amid challenging market conditions

{reg} Vicem announced that it is working to sustain its branding efforts despite the challenging conditions for the Vietnamese cement market reports Nhandan.

The company says that it has put extreme focus on maintaining quality in order to remain a preferred brand in the market. The company recently finished modernizing its cement plants installing new manufacturing equipment as well as retraining its workers to focus on product quality. The company says that its cement production has increased to 3.46 million tons last year while its turnover hit 4.48 trillion dong.

The company says that the Vietnamese cement market is currently facing difficult times as it grapples with declining demand in the face of an oversupply. The companies are also facing the effects of maturing loans and rising production costs. This has forced some companies to look towards the export market to drive growth. [/reg}
