Ciment Français - SibCem transaction delayed

The two companies announced today that they have delayed the closing of the transaction between Ciment Français and OJSC Holding Company Sibirskiy Cement until October 20, 2008.

The divestiture by Italcementi-controlled┬áCiment Fran├ºais' SET Group operations in Turkey was agreed upon at the end of the first querter in 2008. The shares being sold to SibCem represent 100% of the share capital of SET Group Holding A.┼×. and SET Beton Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.┼×. and 76.51% of the share capital of Afyon ├çimento Sanayi T.A.┼×.
