The Jakarta Post reports that the Indian conglomerate Nava Bharat is looking to acquire the troubled Indonesian cement manufacturer Semen Kupang. The state-owned Semen Kupang has been forced to halt operations since May due to financial problems and has had to lay off 600 workers as a result.
