Malaysian cement maker purchases remaining 35.16% from Gopeng for RM 200 mm.

{reg}Malaysia's YTL Cement says it has agreed to purchase 35.16% of Perak-Hanjoong Simen from Gopeng for RM200 mm, a report from the Business Times said.

YTL currently owned 64.84% of equity interest in Perak-Hanjoong and upon completion of the proposed acquisition, the latter will become its wholly-owned subsidiary.

Perak-Hanjoong is principally involved in the manufacture and sale of clinkers, ordinary Portland cement and blended cement, with products marketed under trade names of "Orang Kuat",
