Company to increase output 7%

{reg} Basel Cement Pikalevo plans to increase its t alumina production by seven percent this year to 255,500 tons. The company produced more than 210,000 of alumina and upwards of 2 million tons of lime in January to October up by ten percent. The company said the increase in production reflects the results of its efforts to modernize its production.

The company also announced that it has increased its delivery of counter agents to its Pikalevo outfits by seven percent to one million tons. Its production of sludge climbed 16 percent to 845,000 tons. It also plans to increase limestone shipments by 140 percent to 464,564 tons. {/reg
