Our main feature in this issue titled ÔÇ£Life Cycle Assessment - A study of the construction industryÔÇØ presents Dr Pati analysis and findings on LCA. Furthermore, the ICCM also covers the latest report released by CW Research, the 1H2014 Global Cement Volume Forecast Report (GCVFR). The report predicts that global cement demand will pause in 2014 at 3.9 percent YoY, following a stronger-than-expected 2013. In 2013, global cement demand expanded 6.6 percent to 3.99 billion tons on surging Chinese demand.
