We would like to┬á comment on the news item appeared ÔÇ£Indian demand slow down in AprilÔÇØ as under:Cement┬á demand for April 09 month grew robust 12% compared to corresponding month┬á previous year. The total domestic cement dispatches for the month of April┬á was┬á at┬á 16.3┬á million┬á ton compared to 14.5 million ton reported in April┬á 08┬á month.┬á We understand that you have taken figures of March, 2009 for┬á comparing┬á the┬á growth┬á of April, 2009. March is the best month of the year┬á and it always shows high growth. Further March has 31 days against 30 days┬á in┬á April.┬á Comparing┬á growth┬á figures┬á of┬á Aprils with March is thus incorrect. We thus request you to report revised growth report of April, 2009 based on year on year growth over April, 2008.Thanks & regards,M.K.
