Metsä Board's cartonboard is innovative, has shelf appeal and is cost effective {reg}Metsä Board has won awards for four of its cartonboard types in the 2015 Pro Carton ECMA Awards, and was honoured with the Sustainability Award, within a year of focussing on sustainability of cartonboard production, reports Metsä Board. Winners in three categories also used Metsä Board's products: Beauty & Cosmetics, Beverages and Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals.

The Sustainability Award was presented to Fazer Alku New Mill for its cereal box, for its a decisive advancement in terms of sustainability. The winner under the Beauty & Cosmetics category, Müller Soft Star Tissue Duchesse pack, which uses Metsä Board's Carta Elega to make round cylinder shape packaging. In the healthcare & pharmaceuticals category, the winner is Multipack for Clinical Trials produced for Hoffman La Roche, using Carta Elega from Metsä Board. The winner under the Beverages award is the YO Syrup Carton Sleeve produced for Eckes-Granini , which used wrap-around design printed on Carta Solida from Metsä Board.{/reg}
