According to CW Research analysis, India's imports of uncalcined petcoke slightly exceeded 0.83 million tons in March 2016 with cement companies representing about 74 percent of purchases.

The monthly import volume represents a 0.3 percent decline over February's imports and up 78 percent compared with the year-ago period. Indian uncalcined petcoke imports totaled 0.84 million tons in February 2016, while the country imported 0.47 million tons of uncalcined petcoke in March 2015.
