"Shipment of coal outside the region amounted to almost 1,2 million tons (an increase of almost 29%), including for export to the Asia-Pacific region of about 1.1 million tons (an increase of 43,6%)," the spokesman said.

He added that coal production in 2011, according to forecasts, will be 3.8-3.9 million tons of coal, of which more than 1 million tons of plans to export.
