The new export duties came into force from April 1 on

Higher rates of export customs duties on crude oil and oil products produced in Belarus were established by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers, on March 23, reports Neg.By.

The document came into force on April 1.

The export duties on liquefied petroleum gases were most significantly raised, from USD 50.8 to USD 89.0. On ethane, butane, isobutane exports duties increased from 45.7 USD to 80.1 USD. Propylene trimers and tetramers, non-calcined petcoke will have duties of USD 3.9 per ton.

For other goods of this category, when they are exported from the territory of Belarus outside the customs territory of the EAEU, export duties will be charged at the following rates per ton: crude oil, fuel oil, spent petroleum products, petroleum jelly, and paraffin, petroleum bitumen as much as 61.2 USD; straight-run petrol at 33.6 USD; light and medium distillates, diesel fuel, commercial gasoline, benzene, toluene, xylenes, lubricating oils, and others at 18.3 USD.
