Cementos Argos S.A. today received approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to offer its shares on the "over the counter" (OTC) market as part of a an ADR program.

Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua S.A.B. de C.V. (GCC) reported results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, today. Sales  in the third quarter of 2008 rose 13,9% (in dollar terms) compared to the third quarter of 2007.

Greece's biggest producer of cement may say third-quarter net income dropped to 58,2 million euros from 68,8 million euros a year earlier when it announces its earnings, according to the median estimate of six analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.

Indonesia's largest cement producer, PT Semen Gresik, saw a 15,37% rise in its third-quarter net profit, according to Reuters calculations, a slight weakening after strong growth in previous quarters.
