CW Research: Petcoke CFR prices in India fall in July

India's West Coast CFR prices for high sulfur petcoke contracted in July 2017, with mid-sulfur petcoke prices declining as well at a similar pace, according to CW Research's India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment update for July.

 

The average cost of burning high sulfur petcoke is at a premium of 24+ percent in April 2017, on an mmBTU basis, when compared to Richards Bay coal for the West Coast. In the previous month, the premium rate was at 17+ percent.

There were no reported congestions at the ports around India.
