Med Basin FOB prices for cement, clinker fall in February
In the Mediterranean Basin region, the FOB prices for prompt deliveries of bulk ordinary Portland cement suffered a marginal drop when compared to the previous month, according to the CW Research's February update of Mediterranean Basin cement and clinker prompt delivery cargo price assessment.
Export prices for bulk ordinary grade clinker in the region contracted modestly from January to December.
ÔÇ£In February, cement exporters in Med Basin seem to have mixed perspectives towards the coming months. However, overall, cement prices dimmed with expectations of a stable performance in some North African countries,ÔÇØ said Raluca Cercel, Senior Analyst with the CW Group's European team.
